Wheel-thrown stoneware with glazed interior and raw ceramic exterior. Our birdhouses are safe to live outdoors and include small ventilation and drainage holes. We recommend hanging in a shaded, wind-protected area with hemp rope (not included). Check your rope twice annually for any decay.
Each numbered SOMBRA ceramic birdhouse is one of a kind, made by hand and with dedicated craftsmanship. They are wheel-thrown in mid-fired stoneware and glazed for function in Mt. Washington, Los Angeles.
