Wheel-thrown stoneware with glazed interior and raw ceramic exterior.
The textured stoneware exterior provides a convenient striking surface. For use with strike anywhere matches (not included). Strikes leave unique trace markings over time, similar to chalk marks. Rinse and scrub with a mild dish soap to renew the strike surface.
All pieces are hand-stamped with our maker's mark.
